Participants will be tasked with using recycled New Era headwear and apparel items to create avant-garde works of art! Participants will be encouraged to think progressively and outside the box to create an avant-garde, larger-than-life garment that isn’t for wearing but displays creativity and sustainability. Below are purely inspirational images to exercise your out-of-the-box thinking. Participants will be provided with a mannequin; final garments will NOT be on live models.

 

The materials that will be provided are scrap New Era headwear and apparel. Participants are welcome to bring additional supplies. Additional base materials and notions will be provided. The final creations will be displayed at New Era Cap's Headquarters in Buffalo, NY.
